Krynica-Zdrój

Having 22 mineral springs, the town is known as the pearl of the Polish health resorts. It is worth to see there, among others: the spa house, the Łazienki ("Baths"), the Słotwiński and the Spa parks. The city is famous for the Jan Kiepura Music Festival which takes place there each year in September, as well as the works of a creative self-taught painter - Nikifor of Krynica. His works are exhibited in the "Romanówka" Museum. There is a cable railway to the nearby Jaworzyna Krynicka Mountain, and a funicular railway to the Parkowa Góra Mount. Nearby attractions include beautiful, worth-visiting historic churches.
