The wooden Orthodox Church in Jastrzębik

The St Luke's church was built in the first half of the nineteenth century and is now being used by the Roman Catholic Church. Inside, it is worth to see, e.g. ornamental murals of 1801 or the nineteenth-century Baroque-Classical iconostasis. There are also some historical icons, including a baroque-folk image of Christ the Good Shepherd from 1775. On the choir stall you can enjoy the seven icons of the mid-seventeenth century, making up the so-called Deesis (showing Christ, Mary and John the Baptist with other people).
