Most of the hives in the apiary are unique works of a local folk artist - Zdzisław Kościelniak of Raba Niżna. The apiary has dozens of hives, each hand-carved. Most of them represent peculiarities of still life, animals or humans. Some of the hives in the apiary are more than 100 years old. Besides honey, you can buy there a very interesting souvenir in the form of a small hive made from braided straw.
