The Sources of the Vistula River - the Queen of Polish Rivers

The Barania Mountain (1220 m a.s.l.) in terms of height is, after the Skrzyczyn (1257 m a.s.l.)  second highest mountain in the Beskid Śląski Mountains. It is here, on the slopes of the mountain, where the longest Polish river - Vistula has its beginning. The Czarna and Biała streams flow down from the slopes of the Barania Mountain, and mix together in the Lake Czerniańskie reservoir, and from that point on flow to the Baltic Sea as the Vistula River.
